Microphone History:

Meazzi was a Milan-based Italian company that began as a distributor of musical instruments and other electronics before launching its own lines of uniquely designed and innovative products in the 1960s. The company was known for guitars, drums, amplifiers, and effects pedals. They also made microphones.

The Meazzi brothers started producing and distributing instruments in Sicily after the Second World War. The company later moved to Milan. In the late 1950s, the Meazzi brothers sold guitars and double basses under the name "Framez," an acronym for Fratelli Meazzi (Meazzi Brothers). Meazzi also partnered with Italian luthier Wandré Pioli, distributing his innovative guitars, often under the Framez name.
