BBC EP were an Italian company best known for their speakers who also dabbled in microphone production, producting this ribbon mic which probably dates from the late 1940s. They also made some dynamic microphones - the one pictured looks heavily inspired by Shure and Electrovoice.

Technical Description:
Output impedance measured to be 50 ohm at 1kHz. (15 ohm with high pass filter in place).
Switch position 'A' is a drastic high pass filter for close speaking. Position B is relatively flat at 30 cm distance from the source.
