RIBBON MICROPHONE R.B.M.1.
A beautifully styled high fidelity ribbon microphone for Sound Recording and Public Address work. Finished in silver grey wrinkle with silver relief*. Special internal anti-vibration suspension and built-in 600 ohm line tranformer.
Sensitivity 0.13 millivolt/dyne cm2 open circuit.
*We have also seen examples in black wrinkle paint.
Note that the sound files and sweeps provided for this model are from restored microphones that have been fitted with new magnets and ribbons. One example (blue line) has an upgraded transformer and the other the original transfomer (red line).
