Vitavox B60

MoMics note:

Although it looks very different, the B60 is essentially a rubberised waterproof alternative to the B50, for use in extreme conditions. It first appeared in the HiFi Yearbook in 1964 and is still production today.

From the Vitavox website:

The neoprene covered Vitavox B60 Microphone is completely watertight, is intended for use in exposed conditions, especially IP rated for naval operations.

• Fully watertight withstanding complete immersion in water – IP67
• Will operate with cable length up to 150 metres
• Spring loaded ‘Press-to-Talk’ switch.
• ATEX 94/9/EU updated in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU for use in potential hazardous areas (ATEX Zone 0) when installed in accordance with BS EN 60079-14:2014
• IECEx approved
