According to Recording Hacks Website, the M130 was first introduced in 1962. It is still in production today. Early versions have a nickel plated body whereas the current production model is black.

Dynamic double ribbon microphone designed for studio use. Bi-directional characteristics suppress sound reflections and undesired noise. An ideal microphone for use in small rooms with reflecting surfaces close to the microphone.
