Microphone History:

This Japanese dynamic microphone was very much inspired by the classic EV 664. It features an on-off switch. The output impedance of either 600 ohms or hi-Z can be selected by changing the orientation of the 4 pin connector.

Similar microphones were also sold branded as Arista, Aiwa and Calrad.

  • High impedance: 50,000 ohms; Low impedance: 600 ohms
  • Response from 40 to 15, 000 hz. Fine for voice or music 
  • Sensitivity: -52 db at 1,000 Hz
  • With on-off switch.
  • Highly directional with low pickup from side or rear due to fine pear-shaped pickup pattern.
  • Brushed metal finish. Fitted with 20 foot cord
